Chaotic Compass 2020
Hello crew!! After a somewhat long absence, the Chaotic Compass pair are back and ready for a new sailing season. Big plans this year. So we are very excited to share it with you.
We've had a few months rejuvenation with family and friends and for both of us that has been perfect. My health needed a good kick in the butt last year and Craig was completely burnout. Some beach time and mountain time raised the spirits.
We did a lot of soul searching over the last few months and have made some big decisions. Those of you who know us, will know that we have spent the better part of our adult lives working towards a dream and this year we are excited to begin the transition to that dream fully.
Craig has taken an extended leave of absence which means that 2020 will be dedicated to hoisting the sails and exploring the Med.
We head back to Inelsamo in Tunisia in a couple of weeks time and will spend part of that time provisioning and preparing her for a big season. We'll sail out of Tunisia around the 7th of April and head towards Sicily, Italy. From there we will be making our way east through the Aeolian Islands, Aegadian Islands and Ionian Islands, then onto the Saronic Gulf Islands, the Cyclades and the Dodecanese Islands of Greece. Then we aim direct for Turkey where we will settle into Finike on the South coast for the 'mad season'.
So we have been busy planning, booking and making final arrangements for what we hope will be a brilliant year of new adventures!
